THE INFLUENCE OF THE ORTHODOX FAITH ON OUR SERBIAN HEROES OF THE BALKAN WARS AND THE FIRST WORLD WAR / Presentation Sunday August 24, 2014 - St. Nikola Church in Brookfield, IL

On Sunday August 24, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., Aleksandra Rebic will be giving a presentation on the role their Christian Orthodox faith played in the lives of the heroes of Serbia during the period between 1912 – 1918 during the Balkan Wars and the First World War
at St. Nikola Church in Brookfield, Illinois U.S.A.

"All who love God and love their own people have been great sufferers in this life. The Bible confirms this quite clearly, citing the examples of Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua the son of Nun, Samuel, David, Job, and of all the prophets and righteous ones of the Old Testament."

(Bishop Nikolai Velimirovich 1880-1956)
